Daniel 4:9-11

The Voice

⁹“Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, it is clear to me that the spirit of the holy gods is with you and no mystery is too difficult for you to figure out. Listen to my dream, then tell me what it means. ¹⁰Here is the vision I saw as I lay upon my bed:

    “A tree stood in the middle of the land;
        it was huge, rising high in the sky.
¹¹    The tree grew tall and strong,
        and it reached right up to the top of the sky.
    It was so large that it could be seen
        from one end of the earth to the other.
